Plasma and Corona Treatment Systems

Ebble Group brings together Tantec UK offering machinery sales and support for Plasma and Corona Treatment Systems, as well as subcontract manufacturing utilising these processes through Ebble Manufacturing.

Based from a surface treatment focussed facility in Worcestershire, close to the M42 and M5 motorways, the group works frequently within automotive and vehicles, medical device manufacturing, aerospace, motorsport, consumer goods, packaging and industrial markets.

Better Adhesion Performance

An often hidden technology, plasma and corona treatment is common throughout a wide range of applications worldwide, ranging from print adhesion on syringes, to coating adhesion on automotive components and tape adhesion on aerospace products. Pretreating a material before applying these adhesive technologies is usually used for improving adhesion, or for giving greater repeatability. It is most often used on non stick materials, such as polymers like Polypropylene, which are tricky to work with for adhesion without treatment. Other materials, such as metals or ceramics may have a higher degree of adhesion performance, but a treatment using plasma might just even out any process problems, such as removing finger print contamination or oils from the manufacturing process.

Get To Know Our Technology

From our UK site, Ebble group support customers from getting to know the technology for the first time with our lab and production facility that can be visited by intrigued companies, through to full scale machine installation and integration, or full scale sub contract manufacturing. Equipment ranges from smaller systems for installing on a production line, to wheel in, turn key automated systems. Contract manufacturing could be small research led projects with a range of parameters, to larger volume continuous production with quality control and further processes such as adhesive bonding or printing.

All of this is supported with a variety of products including quality testing tools like dyne inks and pens, as well as more technical items such as contact angle meters and adhesion testers.

Get to know us and our technology, visit the different company pages and read up within the knowledge hub for a wide range of knowledge articles, case studies and informative blogs designed to help with your journey with plasma and corona.

Rather speak with us? We invite you to visit our site where you can see and use equipment first hand and get a true understanding of the processes involved. Our sales and engineering departments are available for teams, phone or email conversations too.
